Obtain a copy of your lease and determine the type and whether or not your management company has the right to hire and fire the agent. More info

Also obtain a copy of your company's Memorandum and Articles of Association and the accounts up to your companies last financial year end. Your solicitor should have copies of your lease and M and A of Ass. from when you bought your property. You can also get a copy of your lease from your freeholder and the M and A can be obtained for a fee from Companies House. The accounts can be obtained either from the agents or direct from your company's accountants.

Go to Companies House and obtain copies of the following, again a small fee is required.

You now have all the basic information that regulates the operation of your company and the relationships and responsibilities of your Freeholder, Company and individual leaseholders.

You will also know who your directors are and where they live, and the financial situation to the end of the last year.
